  The relationship between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce was heavily broadcasted within the media this past weekend, instead now through an incident involving Kelce’s older brother, Jason Kelce , involving the use of a homophobic slur. While in Pennsylvania to appear on ESPN’s “College Gameday” for a game Saturday against Penn State and Ohio State, Jason Kelce was surrounded by students when one student began to heckle him. The student followed Kelce while recording him and asked "Hey Kelce! How does it feel your brother is a f***** for dating Taylor Swift?" As a response, Jason Kelce turned around and spiked the phone and continued to walk away while responding to the fan “Who’s the f***** now?” A majority of fans stood by Travis’ older brother for standing up to a fan who used the anti-LGBTQIA+ slur, some called the 7 time Pro-Bowler out for using the slur back. After a relaxing bye week, the Kansas City Chiefs are entering Week 7 of the NFL season undefeated and are currently one of the two teams who still have not added a loss to their record (along with the Minnesota Vikings ). During the week, the most highly publicized couple in all of football were seen out and about in New York City attending dinner with Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively as well as attending the first ALCS game between the Cleveland Guardians and the New York Yankees. Though the team remains undefeated, the Chiefs will face off against their Super Bowl LVIII opponent, the San Francisco 49ers , on Sunday. There are projections that the reigning world champions will come out with the victory, though there are fans that predict that if the Chiefs do lose that there will be emphasis on the impact of the Kelce/Swift relationship on how the team plays.   Though a majority of coverage of Sunday’s game of the Kansas City Chiefs was mainly talked about due to the lack of Taylor Swift as she did not attend, there was also a wide array of online coverage of Travis Kelce as well as he looked disheveled and (some even said) miserable on the sidelines. In the 22-17 victory against the Atlanta Falcons , Kelce was targeted for five receptions, only catching four for a total of 30 yards. This led a lot of fans, and haters alike, to an important question: where is Travis Kelce? What if I told you she’s back? As the NFL season began, so did the public reactions to Taylor Swift’s appearance at the season opening game in Kansas City against the Baltimore Ravens on September 5th. Various social media outlets were quick to post Swift entering the stadium before the game began and needless to say some Brad’s and Chad’s were not happy with the quick coverage.  One TikTok posted by the NFL about Swift’s arrival led to hundreds of comments such as one asking “Can we get a football post”. Once the game began, the NFL cleverly responded with a clip from the game simply replying with “here, damn”.  This comeback garnered a lot of traction online as pointing out the genius of the creative PR response to those who were not happy with the coverage of Swift at the game.
